The mythology/story behind this song is pretty straightforward: John was only seeing the beginning of the massive heat he was going to take for leaving his wife for Yoko, so this song was a plea to his new wife, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’.

Probably not in the top 20 of most anyone’s favorite Beatle songs, but I always loved this clip, specifically at the 3 minute mark:  it’s the last concert and professionally the acrimony would go on forever, but in the moment, in the Moment…they are into it!
