My original intention was to keep the light hearted flow going, but honestly, the silliness got sapped out of me this week.  So I traded my original choice for today with this song, which obviously, is not too shabby.  Couple of quick notes about it:

• My generation and those younger than me were probably introduced to this song first because of The Wonder Years.  So not only was I stunned when I learned this is a cover of a Beatles song, but…(and I really hate to me just another guy who is ‘hating’ on Ringo), but I think this version is stylistically and vocally much more interesting (you see how I tried to avoid to use the word ‘better’; art by definition is subjective)
• A little research tells me Joe Cocker and other artists have turned this into a number 1 record…but never the Beatles.  Again, poor Ringo…
